Dr. Doris Collins brings more than four decades of nationally recognized leadership in student affairs, auxiliary services, housing, dining, and enrollment management. She has advised 30+ institutions across the country and is one of ACUHO-I’s most decorated leaders—including serving as President and being named one of the “top 10 shapers of the housing profession internationally.”
Dr. Collins has overseen more than 2.1 million square feet across 40 facilities, led 1,100+ staff, and delivered capital and master-planning initiatives exceeding $385M. She has built residential colleges, launched the institution’s first nationally accredited childcare center, and developed living-learning communities that strengthened recruitment, engagement, and retention.
Her expertise in campus dining is equally deep. She directed the full integration of dining with residence life, aligned operations with student-experience goals, led a major dining outsourcing initiative, and coordinated the RFP for multiple high-profile venues—including Raising Cane’s, Einstein Bros., Smoothie King, and others. She ensured that dining operations and housing strategy worked as one system, improving student satisfaction and operational efficiency.
OREG’s advantage is simple: when institutions need transformative, experience-driven housing and dining strategy, they trust leaders who have done it at scale and delivered measurable results. Dr. Collins embodies that standard—bringing the insight, credibility, and operational expertise to elevate instituions’s student experience and strengthen the university’s competitive edge.
